So one of the things that have kept me busy this month is finally getting around to polishing some character designs that have been stuck in my sketchbook.
Here’s Yeh-Shen from the story “Yeh-Shen: A Cinderella Story.” I remember seeing the animated version on CBS Storybreak… years ago. And now I feel old for telling you all that… Who else remembers CBS Storybreak?!
I took a bunch of monsters from my sketchbook last year and turned them into a red repeating pattern. All very random designs!
I’m keeping busy with some freelance animation, but trying to keep the artwork updates coming!
Coming soon, to an Etsy near you!
Eventually I’ll stop posting every new one!
Another one in my series.
Here’s another one to match my previous post.
So I’m going against my nature and using a limited palette for a series of designs I’m doing. (All to eventually open up an Etsy site with.)
Here’s my first “finished” piece. 19 more to come.
A while ago I did some new sketches based on the new style of the TMNT for the upcoming TV series on Nickelodeon. (Coming out Fall 2012. SUPER excited.)
I think I’ll do some in color before I post the rest of the sketches. Here’s Leo for you guys though.
p.s. I’m a huge TMNT nerd… so this could easily be a reoccurring theme on this tumblr. :)
A color script using the dragon character and cave girl. See a few post earlier for the girl development designs.
Some more character development.
Figuring out colors for a character design.
My sister’s 13 year old toothless Chihuahua, Little Man.
I love the rain. Combo Illustrator and Photoshop.
I love colors. You won’t find many neutral colors in my closet!
Quick sketch in photoshop.
